Agreement combines EVbee's semi-solid battery technology with Solar Group's market reach to accelerate commercial energy storage across Northern Europe
MUNICH, Germany – July 6, 2026 – EVbee, a global provider of integrated EV charging and energy storage solutions, and Solar Group, one of Northern Europe's leading sourcing and services companies for electrical and energy solutions, today announced the signing of a 100 MWh framework agreement for the delivery of commercial and industrial (C&I) battery energy storage systems (BESS). The agreement was officially signed during Power2Drive Europe 2026 in Munich, Europe's leading exhibition for charging infrastructure and energy storage, highlighting the strategic importance of the partnership and the accelerating momentum of the European energy storage market.
The agreement represents one of the largest commercial energy storage framework agreements in the region to date and will bring EVbee's advanced battery technology to customers across Norway, Sweden, Denmark and the Netherlands through Solar Group's established sales channels, technical expertise and project capabilities.
With the market's lowest Levelized Cost of Storage (LCOS), thanks to EVbee's semi-solid battery cells and their longer lifetime than any competitor in the C&I segment, the agreement gives commercial customers a secure, scalable and profitable path to energy storage at scale.
As Europe's commercial energy storage market continues to expand, driven by increasing electricity price volatility, grid congestion, renewable energy integration and the growing demand for energy resilience, the partnership positions both companies to support businesses with reliable, high-performance storage solutions that maximize long-term value.
Under the framework agreement, EVbee will supply its advanced C&I battery systems while Solar Group will provide local commercial support, technical consulting and project delivery throughout the region. The partnership is expected to support a wide range of commercial applications, including peak shaving, self-consumption optimization, backup power, demand response and participation in energy flexibility markets.
'For Solar Group, this is about offering our customers a solution we can stand fully behind. EVbee's technology delivers the market's lowest LCOS, and together we can deliver commercial energy storage at a scale and quality that truly makes a difference.'
— Anders Christensen, Group Sr. Category Manager, Solar Group
'The Nordics and the Netherlands are strategically important markets for us, and Solar Group is the right partner to bring our technology to businesses at scale. Together, we are setting a new standard for what C&I storage should be.'
— Tao Yang, Chairman, EVbee
Announced following the successful conclusion of Power2Drive Europe 2026, the agreement marks another important milestone in EVbee's European expansion and reinforces the company's commitment to delivering innovative EV charging and energy storage solutions tailored to the evolving needs of commercial and industrial customers. By combining EVbee's proprietary battery technology with Solar Group's extensive market presence and technical capabilities, the two companies aim to accelerate the deployment of cost-effective, reliable and long-lasting energy storage systems across Northern Europe.
